On daily basis you will work together with Legal Compliance Department, being a part of Capgemini Group Legal, based in Paris and be in contact with the legal compliance lawyers of the various countries. The Legal Compliance Department oversees compliance of Capgemini in the areas of Anti-corruption, Competition laws and Export control and, in principle, ensures that Capgemini’s activities, management and employees comply with relevant national and international laws. A successful candidate will be working from Capgemini office based in Wrocław or Kraków. We are also willing to consider candidates from other locations in Poland for a remote work employment (if the candidate proves competencies required for this type of working system). As part of Legal Compliance Department, you will work on the implementation of the Capgemini Anticorruption program in the entire Capgemini Group (including local entities worldwide), in compliance with local anti-corruption laws requirements and especially with French Anticorruption Law requirements (Law on Transparency, the Fight against Corruption and Modernization of Economic Life – Sapin II Act) applicable to all Capgemini entities. You may also participate in other compliance programs (competition laws and export control) and more generally support the countries Legal Departments on anti-corruption, competition laws and export control. Main accountabilities: Participate in the definition, implementation and deployment of an effective updated compliance program required by Sapin II in the entire Capgemini Group. This program includes 8 main pillars: (1) anti-corruption code of conduct, (2) internal whistleblowing System, (3) risk mapping, (4) third party due diligence procedures, (5) reinforced accounting controls procedures, (6) corruption risk training for the most exposed employees, (7) disciplinary measures, (8) internal monitoring & assessment system. You will be more specifically in charge of the pillars (4). Monitor new global third-party due diligence procedures, perform anti-corruption due diligence on third parties in coordination with the country legal departments and advise the operations (mainly sales and procurement functions) on third party corruption and sanctions risks. Monitor at global level through KPIs the strength and effectiveness of the operational anti-corruption controls related to the various pillars and propose corrective and improvement actions when necessary. Deal with figures, analyze data provided by the operations and the countries and report a synthetic analysis and recommendations. Develop a compliance control plan (second level control) based on random checks to ensure that operational controls are accurate and effective, perform the compliance analysis on the selected cases and recommend corrective actions when necessary (at individual and organization level) to ensure continuous improvement of the program. It is a challenging and evolving role within a highly empowered team of compliance lawyers, working in a dynamic international environment. The successful candidate should have a legal background and be skilled in, project management with strong analytical skills. Applications are welcomed from lawyers with compliance experience, specialized in ethics & compliance and anticorruption law, whether in-house or in private practice. Additional languages, in particular, French are desirable. Strong academic credentials and Master’s degree in Law or in Compliance Admission to the Bar Association in Poland is a plus, however, is not essential Fluent in English verbal and written communications for both formal and informal settings At least 5 years’ experience as a practicing lawyer / legal counsel/compliance officer in private practice and/or in-house and/or in a law firm and/or legal department in a multinational company knowledge of Legal Compliance process and anticorruption law Experience in setting up and conducting compliance process, project management, dealing with figures, analyzing data and documentation Clear capability to collaborate cross‐functionally and within legal function worldwide, in the context of both supervisory and non‐supervisory relationships Good communication and workload management skills Self-motivated, hard-working, detail-minded, clear thinker, quick learner, team player with ability to work independently under pressure with minimum supervision and adapt quickly to the dynamic work environment Interested in learning and with a positive approach to change And last but not least – sense of humor You will be part of the Global Legal Center Poland (GLC Poland) team, working currently out of two locations – Wrocław and Kraków, which consists of 10 fully qualified Legal counsels and lawyers and is headed by the Head of GLC Poland.
